Day Four at Cockatoo Camp
Thursday, June 13, 2002 – Day 4
Leigha has a tad of a hangover from the big Western Bash last nite...
Oh my
aching arches..I danced and did the too step all night long..Some one sang a new
song..10 rounds with Jose Cuervo..and Merlin and I thought they were
serious..Dat worm didn't taste good at all..
Shalom and Darwin will get t-shirts just cause they didn't get to come due to
human error..OK..
Today we'll have the tiel toss and the badkitten champsionships..Casper donated
a large collection of his mamma's painting for the auction..that was sooo
generous of him..not only did he donate those..but he threw in some Eric Peake's
and a Beverly Doolittle.. He is determined to make this auction a big success..
Tonight the music will be Rock and Roll...Well I'd better go get some rest..big
day ahead..we're all going on a hike..then horseback riding..then we'll finish
the day with the big pizza party..The girls sure did look nice in their little
gingham dresses last night..Miss Frances won the Dolly Partoon lookalike
contest..Vavavavooom.....

Miss Frances crammed her feetz into dose high heel spiky sandals WIF LIFESAVER TOE RING ON, boy she iz walkin funny dis mornin. But she sure was a sight ta see! VAAA VOOOOOM is RITE! An Mis Scarlet is savin her pink party dwess for da formal dance on Saturday nite, she had on a rainbow gingham thingie with ruffles an lace, she sure is a girly girl (bestill my heart!) Sigh. Sure is habbin sum funz here...can't hardly beleev da week is almost ober - we iz pawtyin HAWD!!!!!!!

mebbe I bwing her a pwesent home frum camp - speshully since all my cwafts I did
fer her in da cwaft shack didn' works out so good - but I berry sowwy bout dat
incident wiv Miss Scarlet's tail an da glue gun. Dat wuz purely a accident, an
her tail fedders will gwow back in - honest Auntie Shawon! But I thinks li'l
Savanny looks berry CUTE wive her beaded beakie, don' yew?

phoned dis mornin' ta check up on Quinny (she made me lets him quit peelin'
taters), she sed sumfin 'bout dis Olibia DuCawcus ... but she sed sumfin 'bout
yew bedder like wed heads - what she talkin' about? Ms Olibia don' hab wed hair
- I saw one'a her movies when I peeked 'round my screen at da tv one nite b'fore
I had my sleepy cage, an her hair wasn' wed. What's goin on at yer house while
yew not keepin a eye on t'ings? Why does Mom t'ink Ms. Olibia is a wed head?

When I called home this morning..my dad said that mommy was heading for St. Louie..I don't even know where that is..and why would she be going there.. it's not even in the south..Ohmy ohmy ohmy oh my.....Oh well..time to go golfing..

Leigha. Yer mama isn't going to be gone long. She might even be back before you
get home from camp.

dat woud waffing. Yew kno it, we doin da TOO-step wound and wound da woom. We
had wotts and wotts of da Too fun and we all dizzy now.
Da Camp Cockatoo gona ben ober in jes a foo days. Eberrybirdie sez da Leigha the
bestes TOO-stepper. Im berry tired. I twy da TOO-step and RL sez I pitty gud...but
I kina of balwance cuz da tail feawers got puled out wif dat Merwin and da gwue
accidint. Dats ok...cuz da Merwin sez he berry sowwy. I got suvenir undder my
wingie. It is a snak for tunite. hee hee. RL dun't even know. hee hee Gotta
go...and hav my snak.
