ASA update

What have the Nene goose and the Mollucan cockatoo got in common? Yes, they both have feathers but more important they were both featured on the covers of recent ASA Bulletins. Future covers and accompanying articles will feature Green aracari, diamond doves, Edwards lorikeet and macaws along with other interesting and informative information.

Did you miss out on the previous drawing for the rose breasted (Galah) cockatoo? Ethel Meyer, renowned breeder of rose breasted cockatoos, has supplied us with another gorgeous baby to be raffled October 5, 1997 at our annual auction. Winner does not have to be present and we will ship if you are out of the area.

Your cages are already filled with rose breasted cockatoos? Your taste runs along different lines? We have something for everyone! Tickets for drawings for a baby blue and gold macaw, a baby double yellow head amazon, a pair of speckled mouse birds, a pair of Lady Gouldian finch and a pair of rosey Bourke parakeets will be held at the gala December 7th meeting. Call or write for tickets to all of the above. Winner does not have to be present.

Are you an artist or know someone that is? Our December meeting will also be the site for a juried art show and silent auction. Art works will be on display during the months of October and November at both Magnolia Bird Farms. This promises to be an outstanding event with several noted artists already committed.
